River Action's annual paddle event on the Mississippi River: FLOATZILLA!
On August 15, 2026 paddlers will launch from eight sites across the Quad Cities to take over the river for the day. Come out for a great time, great food, great music, and great river lovin' friends!
Highlights:
- Optional 10-mile DAM to DAM Kayak, Canoe, & SUP Race, launching from Hampton's Illiniwek Forest Preserve (9:30 a.m.)
- Navarro Canoe's Navarro-Handcrafted-Canoes-Only Race (Immediately following the all-watercraft race - 9:40 a.m. launch.)
- FLOATZILLAPALOOZA!: Fun & games for all ages at Lake Potter, including decorated boat contest and rubber duck hunt.
- The FUNKTASTIC 5 will be playing live from 11am - 3pm!
